Rev. William Dhein

Fr. Dhein was born Sept. 24th, 1967 and the son of Gale &
Joalle Dhein. He was born in Milwaukee but spent much of
his youth in Eau Claire. Father is a Regis High School
graduate. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy and
Catholic studies from the University of St. Thomas in St.
Paul, and a Master of Divinity degree from St. Paul
Seminary/University of St. Thomas. He was ordained in the
Diocese of LaCrosse on June 29, 2002.

Since ordination, he has served as Associate Pastor of
Sacred Heart – St. Patrick in Eau Claire and St. Raymond
of Penafort parish in Fall Creek. He also served as chaplain
at Regis High School and Middle School. He was also an
instructor at Regis. Formerly, he was an electronics
technician in the Navy. He planned on being a military
chaplain, but found that he is needed in the diocese.

Fr. Dhein was installed as pastor on June 3rd 2003 and
hopes that with his appointment as pastor of Sacred Heart
– St. Patrick parish, he can revitalize parish programs and
in particular the youth ministry. He hopes that having their
own pastor, the people will feel a sense of stability.
Deacon Larry

Deacon Larry has been married to his wife, Jude, for 44
years. They have 2 sons and 6 grandchildren. Deacon
Larry has been involved at St. Patrick’s Church since 1966
and now at Sacred Heart – St. Patrick. He is also assigned
to St. Raymond of Penafort in Brackett. Some of what the
Deacon can do is: proclaim the gospel, preach, preside at
funerals, marriages and baptisms outside of Mass, meet
with couples to administer marriage preparation, assist in
processing annulments, and para-professional counseling.
He also oversees the RCIA process at the parish. Deacon
Larry’s hobbies include cars, amateur radio operator, and
working with computers. He retired from the Eau Claire
Police Department after 31 years. Larry was ordained a
permanent Deacon in 1987, with his first assignment at
Newman Parish in Eau Claire.
Sister Catherine Manning O.S.B. : Pastoral Minister

Sister came to St. Bede Monastery in Eau Claire from
Beaver Dam, WI in August 1993 and made her Final
Profession on July 11, 1998 as a Benedictine Sister. She is
one of 137 Sister Moms in the United States. She is mother
to 4 children and grandmother of 2. Sister began her
ministry to the parish in 1996, visiting the sick & dying,
homebound, & elderly in hospitals, nursing homes and at
home. She also welcomes new families into the parish with
home visits. She enjoys visiting with people, walking,
reading and spending time with her family.
Michelle Bowe

Michelle is the Director of Religious Ed and Youth Ministry.
She has a Master's degree in counseling and brings a
wealth of experience at both the parish and diocesan
levels. She served as DRE and Youth Minister at St.
Bronislava in Plover, a rural parish in central Wisconsin.
She also worked as diocesan Director of Ministry with
people that had disabilities in West Virginia. She has six
sisters and one brother and enjoys spending time with her
24 nieces and nephews. Michelle's family is very important
to her and she likes to spend time with them at the family
cabin. She also enjoys swimming, biking and volleyball.
Judy Martin

Judy began working at St. Patrick Church in 1991. She has
worked in many capacities for the Catholic Church over 30
years. She previously worked for the Diocese of LaCrosse
& Catholic Charities. She attended Northland College and
UW-EC majoring in Sociology & Business. She also
attended Cathedral College in New York for Church
Organization and Planning, and had special ministry
classes from Notre Dame and Loyola University. Judy
raised 4 boys and 1 girl as a single parent. All attended
Catholic Schools and graduated from Regis. She is the
grandmother of 12. Judy likes to read, cook, work with
computer programs & spend time with her family and
friends.
Joan Endle

Joan has been a member of Sacred Heart - St. Patrick for
over 50 years. She attended St. Patrick’s Grade School,
and Regis High School. She then attended Vocational
School for 1 year taking secretarial/accounting courses.
She has been married to Elgar for 32 years and they have
2 grown children. She began working as a secretary for
Sacred Heart Church in 1990. In 1999 her office was
moved down to the St. Patrick location when the 2
Churches united as one parish. Joan handles all the
bookkeeping and the cemetery accounts. She also serves
as the bookkeeper for St. Raymond of Penafort parish. She
enjoys walking, biking, gardening, reading, fishing and
traveling to see her granddaughters & family in Eden
Prairie.
